How does the whole process work?

First Meeting:

Every session begins with an initial in-person, Skype or email consultation so we can get to know one another! Your place, ours, or somewhere in between - we love to meet over a cup of coffee or wine and talk about who you are and who you’d love to become during your session.  We also encourage our clients to use this time for questions and ideas; and we love to show you our beautiful print products in-person to give you a feel for the final outcome of your session.

Booking:

After the initial consultation, we will work with you to book your session. We require a 50% retainer to hold the session date. Once booked, we will send you some wonderful resources for what to wear and how to prepare for your session! 

The Affair:

On the day of your session we’ll sit and chat for a while, sip a glass of champagne or juice - listen to your favorite music, whatever you need to make you feel completely comfortable! Then, one of our expert professional stylists will be with us on-location to transform you into a stunning vixen and provide touch-ups throughout the session. After hair, make-up, and a few sips of your favorite drink - we’ll get right down to it! Just you, me, and the camera! 

The Reveal:

A week after your photo shoot, we will invite you back to the studio for and in person reveal and ordering session! Each image will be lovingly retouched in magazine quality to accent and highlight your best features. During the reveal you will be able to order a variety of additional prints, canvases and beautifully crafted photo products that will be artfully created just for you!  

How far ahead of time should I book my shoot?

We suggest booking your shoot 6-8 weeks in advance, so that we can have the viewing and deliver your products in a timely fashion. However, if you need your shoot and products earlier, we offer a rush service for an additional fee. 

Where will my shoot take place?

The shoot can take place either in our Upper West Side studio, your home or a boutique hotel room/apartment. 

Will you post my images on your website?

Due to the intimate nature of what we do, we only post images from your shoot with your written permission. Ethically and legally we would never share your images unless you absolutely want us to! 

How long will my shoot last?

Depending on the package you choose, a shoot can last anywhere from 1.5 - 4 hours. 

How do I prepare for my shoot?

We want to make sure you look your best for your shoot so we ask that you follow the 10 commandments of a Boudoir shoot listed below:

1. 48 hours before your photo shoot we ask that you do not consume alcohol.

2. Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your shoot and on the day of.

3. Make sure to get a good nights sleep prior to your shoot, giving yourself at least 8 hours. We want you bright eyed and bushy tailed and ready to go!

4. If you need a haircut or color please do this 1-2 weeks prior to your shoot so that you are happy with the results. Arrive with your hair clean and dry.

5. A manicure and pedicure adds a lot of flair to your shoot, but if that’s not your thing we ask that you come with clean trimmed nails.

6. Please arrive with a clean moisturized face.

7. DO NOT spray tan before your shoot.

8. If you are waxing, please make sure to do so 3-5 days before your shoot so that any irritation will be healed by the time we shoot.

9. Assemble and pack your wardrobe for the shoot at least a day in advance so that you will just have to focus on getting to your shoot the day of.

10. Please wear loose comfortable clothing to your shoot. Any tight fitting clothing will leave marks on the skin which will add to the retouching time. 

Investment

Our packages start at $850 and our clients on average spend between $1400-$4000. However we have customizable options and are willing to work within your budget to make sure you have the experience that every woman deserves!
